Clearing Trauma

Image
In a recent post in our virtual Reiki Community group, a practioner asked for tips on releasing trauma after giving a session, which triggered an old personal trauma.  I seconded the suggestion of using EFT as a tool to clear their own trauma, and receiving Reiki and Acupuncture from those who feel safe and resonant. All my teachers have recommended receiving treatment from others when ill or under stress! Borage - comfort and courage I shared a practice learned in Lightwork: Before the session - envision a ' matching picture rose' between you and your client, assign it the task of absorbing and transmuting any of the same issues that might come up. See it's stem being well grounded (and ground yourself before the session *) ... After the session, seperate your energy from your client, and observe 3 things in the room, then DISSOLVE the Rose! See it evaporate, taking all which it's  cleared with it. If you have a saltlamp in your space, be sure to turn it on be...

Practical Reiki

The Reiki precepts begin  kyo dake wa , just for today ... I love the concept that we become the jumper cables for the energy - it flows through, not from us. When we have Reiki, we can invite the energy to flow into our activities and interactions throughout each day.  Morning bowl While Mrs Takata awaited surgery in Dr Maeda's hospital in Tokyo, each meal prepared by the doctor's sister, the dietician, was  blessed with Reiki : green tea, Rice, beans, steamed vegetables (especially carrots & beets), seaweed.  As she learned Reiki herself, Mrs Takata blessed her own food and drink, and later recommended that her students do the same. Teachers in many traditions suggest blessing what we serve and ingest, when we do this daily, it soon becomes second nature. We can also use Reiki around the home: set up an altar hold seeds or herbs a minute before we plant them bless a craft project we're working on sweep the floor whilst talking with a friend or on the phon...

In the late 80s when I was first attuned to Reiki, the classes I took were small, and the exchanges were one-on one. At Breitenbush, I experienced group sessions at our PNW Reiki gatherings, and in my classes, but only occasionally with visiting Masters. Stones from Reiki Mastery Students When I moved to the Oregon coast in the fall of 1994, I began offering Reiki classes and Initiations in the local area.   Shortly after arriving in Neskoin, I met Anita, who had taken Reiki 1 & 2 before moving to Oregon. Anita knew she   wanted  "Personal Mastery,"  and felt Reiki might be the vessel she sought. Was I willing to take her as a student? ... Yes!   Dance of energy Anita loved Reiki shates, and offered to host and help facilitate Circles for our community! We set up 2 tables, and she opened her living room for weekly circles. We also offered classes together, and Anita taught our group a lot about holding space, from her ex periences with Reiki,...

Reiki and MAP

In the early 90s, I began making  flower essences  shortly after joining the Healing Arts Team at Breitenbush Hot Springs and becoming a Reiki Master.  One of my books on essences was Machaelle Small Wright's. I'd been gardening co-creatively with Nature since reading about Findhorn in the 80s, and later discovered Machaelle's Garden Workbook. When she published her  Medical Assistance Program (MAP),  I got her initial handouts, then the book. Petunia - creative visionary With this program (developed from her work with Devas and nature spirits, Machaelle began to work with a "team" for personal health - both physical and mental/emotional. It dovetails beautifully with energy work including Reiki and etheric healing, tuning forks and lightweaving, and during sessions received from other healers. The team includes: PAN (the CEO of nature)  Great White Brotherhood (Ascended Masters, including Motherr Mary and Christos, and the Reiki guides) Deva  of...
