King's Touch Reiki

  In 1989, I went to a harp concert with the amazing Karen Bruner in January ... and met my Reiki master at a talk in the same room in September, 9 months later.  In the summer of 1991, two 1/2 years after first meeting Karen, I saw her at the NW Reiki gathering, "ah!! She does Reiki!! That explains it!" ... (The thread connecting her to my own Reiki journey - I'd just become a Master at that point) When I took 2nd degree in '89, I dropped the symbols into the drum I'd made, and brought with me - and in 1993, when I got my first harp, dropped them into her!  Drums and Native American Flute Before 'finding' Reiki, I was 'waiting' for a book, and would visit a certain isle at Powell's City of Books, hoping it was be there ... this went on for at least a year. This month marks my 30th anniversary as a Reiki Master -  When the student is ready ....  A friend calls it holes - when you know something's important, and you need to do it, but - why? I can trace my "introduction" to the healing modality I'd been seeking to a harp concert  (by a 2nd degree practitioner!) 9 months before, in a bookstore about an hour away. Who could resist Karen Brunner's title, "Out of the Silence, Into the Wind" ... And her tape, Where the Dragons Come to Drink - recorded the summer before during the Lion's Gate portal, 8-8-88. So I was drawn to that January concert!  ... After the amazing concert, I looked for the right book , picked up one on Chiron (Barbara Hand Clow's), the wounded healer ...  That fall, I saw an announcement for a talk on Chiron - at the same bookstore that hosted the concert! The catalogue was in the Mail, when I returned from offering a talk to on asteroids to a local Astrology group - how could I No...

 Ask a cat if they would like some Reiki, and they'll likely tell you they invented it!!  When I embarked on my Reiki journey, it seemed by 'happenstance!'   During her talk on the asteroid  Chiron, the 'wounded healer , Analyse mentioned Chiron oversees healing initiations, & invited those interested to register for a Reiki class in a few weeks. I was intrigued, & signed up for her upcoming class on the spot. I'd long realized there was 'more we could do' with our hands, without personal effort; but hadn't been sure how to tap it consistently.   One other student and one of Analyse's new Masters and I arrived for the class. After the introduction, we moved to the massage tables for our first sessions, and the resident kitty was at the door, wanting in!
